After working with 250+ entrepreneurs to validate their ideas and raise capital through pre-orders, I launched a full-service company with a team of 8 employees. Leveraging my extensive experience in venture capital and helping founders raise capital from pre-seed to Series B, we expanded our offerings to include comprehensive fundraising campaign management services. Our success in helping startups secure funding has resulted in partnerships with top crowdfunding agencies such as Wefunder, Start Engine, and Republic.

In 2018, I built this company from the ground up by creating partnerships in Spain, Portugal, and Dakar and outsourcing the production of sustainable products all around the globe (mainly watches, credit cards, and sunglasses) out of recycled ocean waste. By the end of 2021, I had grown the team to 5 people and the company reached our first 6 figure year.
Later that year, JOAGO was partially acquired by a small, venture capital firm based in London through Acquire.

PANGEA CONSERVANCY

I founded a social enterprise to initiate substantial ocean collection projects and work to compile and organize what is collected to be up-cycled into our own unique material, which we are looking to patent. We had the intention to work in Dakar and Senegal to collect ocean waste while producing a second income for the collectors.
Pangea Conservancy was working on creating a supply chain in Europe and Portugal to collect and outsource ocean waste which will be used for the creation of Joago products and our own ocean-bound material. PG failed after the pandemic hit.

**Converting waste plastics into liquid fuels through the pyrolysis process **This research was focused on the study of plastic pyrolysis process, which consists of thermal decomposition of these materials, and allows to obtain a hydrocarbon blend, called light petroleum. It can be used as an energy source. The work was made with plastic waste, which were classified into six categories: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). Each category was treated separately in a batch reactor, except PVC.
CROWDFUNDING consulting
After having a successful crowdfunding campaign to launch JOAGO, I knew I could help other people fundraise to build the products of their dreams as I did. As a result, I became a part-time freelance consultant on Fiverr and helped over 250 clients raise funds to start their ventures through crowdfunding. Over the course of two years, I had an 85% customer success rate, helping my clients raise over $1M in total.
